The Trophy Boats range are powered by Mercury engines, which range from the 2-stroke Optimax engines (90-225hp), the four-strokes (100-115hp), the Verado four-strokes (135-275hp) and finally the Mercruiser (135-260hp).

Optimax

Thanks to legendary direct-fuel-injected technology, which combines awesome acceleration and staggering top-end speed with clean, quiet, fuel-saving operation, OptiMax is the perfect choice for almost any use.

For 2007, the picture looks even better with the introduction of upgraded “next generation” motors which feature new styling, even lower sound levels and on the 3.0 litre models, a new gearcase. Enough to confirm the belief that the OptiMax is the best DFI engine ever built and for this range to top the J.D. Power and Associates customer satisfaction index for two-stroke outboards.

FourStroke

If you’re looking for clean, quiet, reliable power, nothing performs like Mercury four-strokes. That’s because no other engines offer the same combination of smooth, smoke-free operation; proven technology and unparalleled corrosion resistance. And no engines offer the same heritage of tournament-winning power.

2007 sees the introduction of three new models, specifically the 115, 100 and 80 hp EFI mid-rangers which join the recently revamped 25 and 30hp injected outboards and the 3.5 and 2.5 portable editions.

Verado

From the proven six-cylinder model to the brawny new four-cylinder, Verado delivers pinned-to-the-seat power and the quietest, smoothest performance of any outboard ever built. Additionally, Verado’s engineered driving experience provides ultimate control, response and durability.

It’s your call. With horsepower ratings from 135 to 275 hp, including the new 175 hp model, Verado can supply all the fun and excitement you can handle.

Mercruiser

Sterndrives:

Mercury MerCruiser's highly responsive, carburetted petrol power is available on the universally popular sterndrive models 3.0L/135 hp and 4.3L/190 hp, all with excellent power-to-weight ratios. These carburettor MerCruisers are outstanding value per horsepower.

Cummins Diesel:
Cummins MerCruiser Diesel delivers a new wave of marine diesel power that brilliantly advances the science of marine diesel technology. Improvements in fuel efficiency translate into extended range and savings at the pump. These environmentally friendly engines offer comfortable cruising and benefit from low noise and vibration.
